Pretty cool. Hopefully some of the "lol acadmics" folks on HN will see how good research practices are very similar to startups (and yes that would be the biggest asset of any good academic you hire) :)
- pgbovine 13y agoyep. getting stuff done in academia today is quite similar to startups, s/investors/government-agencies, s/grants/investment-rounds, s/papers/pitches, s/prototypes/MVPs, s/hiring-students-and-postdocs/hiring-employees, etc.
