2. Java isn't slow if that's what you were insinuating. According to the shootout game the java vm is generally faster than mono.
- nailer 17y agoInteractive response is not measured with a number crunching benchmark. It's measured by UI latency. Eclipse itself (assuming SWT is considered better than Swing) is still remarkably slow when compared to MonoDevelop.
