Your business being easily copyable is not a 'wrong' that should be righted by the legal system. That's a really, really nutty notion.
- throwawaykf03 13y agoIf a business is easily copyable and no-one will finance it for that reason, that business may never come to exist, which is clearly a net loss to society. Of course, this does not apply to yoga videos, but a lot of startups that venture into unproven technologies or markets are very risky investments.

- throwawaykf03 13y agoHaving new businesses is not a net loss to society? Sure, a vast majority of them will be worthless, but without experimentation how else will valuable new markets be discovered?
