I would much rather go with the machinist I've met quite a few veteran machinists and they are very good at what they do, especially the ones who have learned to use cnc in conjunction with traditional work. Leno however probably has enough money that he employs multiple people who know very much about engines and cars that they are the ones worrying about the molds.
