It must be nice to have the option of solar panels, at present I have a metre of snow on my roof and that's on the south side. And that's after I spent three hours shovelling off as much as I could before the ice storm hit us today. It snow 15cm before the ice storm now I'm back to square one. I'd like to have solar panels but I can't see how I could keep them from being covered in snow without shovelling them off off at least once per week Dec to Feb.
