Want to build a platform inside Gmail?

We (Streak.com - YC s11) are working on building a platform inside Gmail. We believe it should be really easy to build "apps" for Gmail as well as find them. We're a small engineering team and we can’t build features fast enough to keep up with users’ demands and our growth. That’s where you come in - we need someone who likes building product, pushing code everyday and making our service FAST. Work on Gmail - one of the most sophisticated javascript applications on the web - and make it even better for its 650M users and growing We’re building a complex web app, that means building frameworks and libraries, not just basic UI javascript. Streak + Gmail needs to be crazy performant so we are pushing the boundaries of JS, tooling and application design. Obviously: - We offer great compensation and real ownership (both equity and over the product) - We’ll make your life easier. Our benefits package is amazing - We’re very well funded by elite silicon valley investors Our requirements: - you are intellectually curious and want to improve your skills - you have built stuff before Email us at platform@streak.com if you are interested and please include stuff that you've built and are proud of.
