Has the rise of virtual circuit design helped to improve margins for the hardware industry? the ability to test a prototype before building it must count for something.
- krschultz 17y agoNot really. Designing the circuits is the easy part. The hard part is figuring out why it didn't work after it was manufactured. It usually comes down to tiny details like if a certain pin on one chip was soldered at the factory correctly.
