I think it is always a huge mistake to assume people mean the literal meaning of words they use. Im not even sure people using such words in a sort of banter (Im sure I could have chosen a better word there...) environment even think of them as words, more like they are sounds, like a contemporary growl or bearing of teeth replacement. I mean, when someone says "fuck you", should I take them up on the offer?
