Ask HN: CloudFlare error 520 when accessing Hacker News from Hong Kong

For the last 2 days I have been receiving 520 errors from CloudFlare when trying to access http://news.ycombinator.com from Hong Kong: Web server is returning an unknown error There is an unknown connection issue between CloudFlare and the origin web server. As a result, the web page can not be displayed. Ray ID: dbffbbaeae7022b Your IP address: Error reference number: 520 CloudFlare Location: Hong Kong If I VPN to somewhere else geographically (ie. America, France, etc) it works without issue. I've opened a ticket with CloudFlare but they responded that it as an issue with the origin server which doesn't make sense to me since it only fails from Hong Kong. Is anyone else having issues?
