In my experience, no. I've written three RoR 4 apps since turbolinks was released and I've disabled it in all of them. None of my 6 ruby coworkers use Turbolinks either. I actually liked turbolinks, makes the page feel much quicker, but just too many quirks to work around and I didn't really have time to dive into them.
