Whilst there are a lot of impassioned statements of position in this thread, I'm not seeing a lot of discussion of the massive body of research on sex work and sex workers, or the many commentaries on the industry from people working inside it. Given this is HN, that seems like a bit of a pity. As usual, evidence produces some conclusions which intuition may not.
