Pretty poorly written article...Still trying to digest what they were getting at, maybe it is late. Specifically, they do not specify what the MSFT investment is now worth. Sure MSFT peaked at above 500 billion dollars, and aapl was closer to 3 billion at the time. Now Apple is peaked around 500 billion and MSFT is now closer to 300 billion...but..well...no mention of the actual financial return on investment... Oh, and, while widely profitable, most of the world considers apple, like microsoft in transition. This is the wonderful world of viewing things through quarterly earnings eyes.
