To use docker on my mac I have replaced Vagrant with boot2docker (http://github.com/steeve/boot2docker http://github.com/steeve/boot2docker). I didn't need all the moving parts anyway - the VM is always the same, the application-specific bits are all defined inside the containers.
- scottbessler 13y agohow do you launch boot2docker on your mac, raw virtualbox? or do you mean you actually dual-boot to it?
- calgaryeng 13y agoI would be interested to know this as well.
- shykes 13y agoJust raw virtualbox - I point to the ISO as a virtual drive. It looks like they're also working on a script to automate this - like a mini-Vagrant but which always boots the same image :)
