The last 50 years of U.S. public administration has truly been a master course in how to completely destroy public faith in large government. As of right now, it seems the U.S. government has two paths it can take -- a) Begin the long and difficult process of restoring faith in the system, or b) tighten their stranglehold on power. Somehow I doubt we'll see the latter.
