I think people who make these arguments drastically underestimate the challenges faced in coming up with a single cure-all for cancer. That said, I am very sorry to hear about your wife's condition and I hope that she comes out of it fine. That must be an extremely difficult situation and I'm not sure if I were in your situation I wouldn't have a similar opinion.
