- w1ntermute 13y ago> thinly-veiled anti-Semitism Oh please. Make one negative comment about Jews and you get called an anti-Semite. It's even worse than with blacks.
- clarky07 13y agoYou must be one of those poor oppressed middle class white males from America. It's so rough that people call your racist comments racist. How dare they.
- ninjac0der 13y agoNot everyone has to be completely precise and politically correct to have a conversation, just most of these kinds. Know your audience. :)
- moocowduckquack 13y agoDo dark skinned folk also get annoyed with you treating them as a homogenous group, by any chance?
- rsynnott 13y agoHave you considered a career as a professional writer of letters to the Daily Mail?
- moocowduckquack 13y agoI think it needs a few Why, oh why's and an In my day, to really make the grade.
- tptacek 13y agoWhat an embarrassment that this comment got voted up.
- nullymcnull 13y agoWhat an embarrassment this whole subthread is. Starting with the bizarre suggestion that jews have some sort of special moral responsibility to intervene in any major human rights catastrophe, because the holocaust = a huge human rights catastrophe? These kind of train wrecks are inevitable when people post stuff like this to HN. Dogma vs Dogma.
- w1ntermute 13y agoOh please. All I did was say something that is true, but politically incorrect. Just because it offended your sensibilities doesn't mean it's false.
- moocowduckquack 13y agoCongratulations, you just won the moocowduckquack memorial sickbag for Bigot of the Week.
- pekk 13y agoWho says "international Jewry" any more?
- swordswinger12 13y agoI've always heard 'Jewry' used to refer to a particular Jewish community. cf. 'Christendom' for Christians.
