OP hasn't learned he is not a beautiful and unique snowflake.
- ChrisNorstrom 13y agoOP is sharing some lessons in life. Take em or leave em. There's hundreds of songs or stories about loving someone and losing them. Even though such things happen to everyone we don't dismiss the story just because it isn't unique.
- banachtarski 13y agoBlogging is fine, but submission of posts to a news aggregator is opening the door to judgments as to its usefulness, veracity, and/or uniqueness. If I wrote some random post about how great I thought C was and I've been coding for a couple weeks, I shouldn't expect it to get good reception here. In addition, you add some pretty blatant "donation" crap at the end and its clear the subtext of the article is self-marketing. tl;dr. Yes I can and will dismiss this story because it isn't unique.
- ChrisNorstrom 13y agoSo 3 days in a row of "why bitcoin is a bubble" are unique stories for hn? Considering the fact that I'm barely making it in the middle class, made a bad decision, warned others about it, and like millions of other blogs have a donation bitcoin address (NOT even a paypal donate button). This is HN, not Reddit, we don't recoil in snarkery or condescendence at people who try to self help or plug their startups. Judging from your past comments on other articles, you're quite the negative one. So, enlightened being, what have you built to make your status so much higher than ours?
