Replace "software engineer" with any profession and the meaning doesn't materially change.
Why do we need this?
- pjscott 13y agoThe ACM is the type of organization that feels obligated to write a code of ethics, and dutifully pay lip-service to it. This isn't about having an actual effect on the world; it's pure social signaling.
- xradionut 13y agoWe'll have software ethics when we have business ethics and political ethics.
