That said, I recall people petitioning pg to run it on the first Monday of the month if the 1st fell on a weekend so it's possible if you don't see it to reflect some people's wishes

- jtheory 13y ago9am PST is possibly a poor choice, given that PST is so late in the world's timezones. 9am San Francisco time on December 1st is already 4am the next day in Sydney. I suppose it's a juggling act based on how long it will stay on the front page, etc., but that too is something that can be tweaked.
