iPhone's Siri does something similar, but for a different reason: reliability. It multipaths each query.
- songgao 13y agoSiri does this in a more systematical way. It uses Multipath TCP, which is in transport layer. This is an application layer hack. This one is actually less convenient and less efficient (tunnelling in proxy adds extra headers and reduces available data space in each packet). EDIT: typos
