Not all races involve being happy to see others in trouble.
- onedev 13y agoYou're reading too much into his statement.
- gress 13y agoThe one where he says it's great if people's productivity is being harmed because it makes it easier for him to outcompete them?
- chatmasta 13y agoBeing harmed by their own choices. Sheesh.
- gress 13y agoAlmost any time people are harmed, it is in part due to their own choices. But in any case, you have made your position clear. You would prefer to see people harmed in order to make it easier for you to gain advantage over them because you believe in a dog-eat-dog world. Thanks.
- chatmasta 13y agoSince when does spending too much time on your phone mean you're "in trouble?" Last I checked that's an entirely personal choice. You're talking about my statement like I'm celebrating homelessness or something equally despicable.
- gress 13y agoYou are celebrating other people's misfortune. Saying it's their 'choice' changes nothing. People often make poor choices with bad outcomes. You celebrated an instance of this because you said you thought it would give you an advantage in competition against them.
