The most free one is OpenMoko, even the baseband firmware: http://lists.openmoko.org/pipermail/community/2012-July/067276.html http://lists.openmoko.org/pipermail/community/2012-July/0672... (runnig non-certified baseband firmware is illegal in many places however, from spectrum use regulations)
