When there are museums that consider you to have invented it, and you DID invent it (just perhaps were not the first, though that was not known at the time), it seems fair to say that you did.
After all, we consider that both Newton and Leibnitz invented calculus.
- danielweber 13y agoThen he should have said that. "I am often called the inventor of public key cryptography.[1]" But it would not have been as cool to quote on web forums. [1] I don't know if that's heresy or whatever; Egghead's legal team, however, would know and could coach him appropriately.
