There is definitely an irony in shoddy construction being done in an earthquake prone country.
I think part of it may also be that the construction companies form a strong political lobby.
- astrodust 13y agoPoor quality and earthquake resistant are not mutually exclusive. Peeling wallpaper is not going to affect the structural integrity of your house.
