I briefly knew a few people on the dole after finishing school/university. All of them were constantly broke and quickly got jobs. I don't know anyone who turned down a job so they could keep getting £56 a week jobseekers. There are areas of the UK which have high proportion of people on the dole, but it's a tiny minority. Please don't tar us all with the same brush.
