Neocities woes

I was looking for a free webhost to throw my portfolio website on, at the same time there appeared on this site an article about the new 'neocities' I knew it already had disadvantages compared to other free webhosts, like, only one folder for your whole site, no php or server side scripting and few other things. But it seemed to have coolness cache with the hackers here and I thought for a portfolio site that would be important. In the comments of that article btw I mentioned 000 webhost which people said was terrible. So far on neocities, it has been randomly down when I send people a link. And just now my account seems to have dissapeared. All I want to do now is erase my site from there so it doesnt conflict in search results with a new one I'll host somewhere else. We'll see how that goes. I have had some other sites up on 000webhost for some time, they work fine, I have had no issues at all.
