As long as you know what you're getting into. ;) I don't disagree with your blog post generally, I just am not sure you'll get the sort of buy-in you want from companies you want. Doesn't mean you shouldn't try, and I'm glad you are. I picked up Tom Peters' book, Re-Imagine. I'll check out the 80s works you cited, too. I assume you've read The Cluetrain Manifesto? Good luck!
