It would be great if column oriented DBs weren't tagged as relational databases!
- cynwoody 13y agoColumn orientation is an implementation detail. It has nothing to do with whether or not a DBMS is relational. Whether a system should be classified as relational depends on how fully it supports the standard SQL interfaces, not on how it works under the covers.
