I know the words "ethics" and "lawyers" don't generally enters people's minds at the same time, but the model rules of ethics for lawyers take this sort of thing seriously. If the Senators show that some lawyers did indeed lie to the Supreme Court, the Court itself could take action on those attorneys' licenses. It's also a lawyer's duty to report if they are aware of another attorney's violations of ethical rules. I know it's doubtful, but one can hope.
