I find their statistics to be somewhat misleading. Can we see fire statistics on cars produced from the same time as Model S? Because I am not surprised a lot of the older cars are catching on fire. I still believe Tesla will be safer then gasoline cars, but gap definitely would not be orders of magnitude.
