Hah, I had the same exact thought when reading that. Though like I said in my comment, I think the statement goes well beyond "loaded". It's just false.

- timje1 13y agoI meant loaded because it could technically be considered true (the broadcasters certainly haven't 'authorized' Aereo's behaviour), but the term is obviously chosen to sway public opinion before the legal battle.
- fryguy 13y agoThey didn't authorize me to eat a ham sandwich today, but that doesn't make it unauthorized. More to the point. If I recorded a game on my DVR, and the DVR streams it to another DVR in my house, that is not an unauthorized transmission, either.
