I use a browser plugin that strips down the actual site to a minimal version http://www.clea.nr http://www.clea.nr
It's by far the best solution I've found since it stays out of the way, and when I click on a Youtube link the page is much nicer.

- cachemeifyoucan 13y agoCan't seem to install the plugin - chrome is blocking the installation and I can't find it in the chrome extension store...
