Jurassic Park may have been a bit silly with the Dennis Nedry "you didn't say the magic word" but at least it had some photogenic computers. The CM-5 was a real beauty, certainly one of the more attractive supercomputers that ever was. (I think it was a Y/MP in the book which, while resplendent with a stately elegance, lacks the visceral blinkenlights of the Connection Machine.) Also that weird Irix Motif-based file navigator thingy. Which I guess is cool, too.
