I would agree with that. As an avid gamer, I don't see the point why anyone would play a game where everyone is equal. You get to progress in the game only because you are better than the others. A game where everyone is equal and reaction time and skill doesnt matter, results in everybody progressing at the same speed which makes it boring. This is sort of reminiscent of the good ol' MUDs. The only people interested in such a game would be casual gamers, and even they would tend to get bored quickly.
