Seems clearly to have been done in reaction to, or in cooperation with the change in the US.
I wonder why no European or other country got out in front and made this change earlier?

- bergie 13y agoWe have a shared Aviation Authority in EU in the form of EASA, so this isn't something a particular European country could do on its own.
