Regarding the internet - one can set up the iodined server somewhere at home http://dev.kryo.se/iodine/wiki/HowtoSetup http://dev.kryo.se/iodine/wiki/HowtoSetup and use elinks to browse internet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ELinks http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ELinks) . m.facebook.com, m.google.com, m.gmail.com have light, html-only versions of their websites, which works OK in slow net conditions. I would like to have an app that learn from my browsing usage and from time to time caches my favorite part of the internet (for example in my case it would cache the hacker news site 1 link deep from front page)
