Even better? There's a pmiller and you're pmiller2..
- asdfologist 13y agoWell it's not like he's trying hard to hide his name. If you google his email address, the first result is his github page which contains his real name.
- pmiller2 13y agoNo, I'm not trying to hide it much at all. So you found my real name, email address, and github account. With all that, you could probably find my Linkedin account, which will tell you where I've worked and where I went to school. But all that stuff is practically public information, anyway, and I make no effort to hide any of it. But that wasn't actually my point. My point was that starting with just a name, you're going to end up with precisely nothing about me. Even knowing my email address and everything on my LinkedIn page doesn't get you really anywhere. What you find ends up being a lot of info on people who are clearly not me. I'm pretty effectively hidden in plain sight.
- chrismonsanto 13y ago"I'm practically John Smith" means "I have a common name". He wasn't trying to hide his identity.
