I haven't read Wolfram's A New Kind of Science, but something tells me that this is a one page summary of it?
- shoyer 13y agoUh... no. A New Kind of Science is its own special kind of nonsense. For the most part, Wolfram argues that cellular automata are a transformative paradigm for science. It's not about the power of "big data" at all.
- saraid216 13y agoHuh. All the discussion on HN that I saw on it seemed to revolve entirely around big data. Nevermind, I guess.
