Twitter's IPO will ensure that it no longer plays a role in world events.
- the_watcher 13y agoCan you explain this? Do you believe that public companies can't play a role in world events? Seems like this is contradicted by any number of public companies.

- ChristianMarks 13y agoIt doesn't follow, actually. It is my guess that the IPO will lead Twitter to temper its willingness to serve as a communications medium for events like the Arab Spring, but I could be mistaken--even sadly mistaken.
