Horde seems to be full of bugs regarding security. Several of my friends run it on their servers and had the server compromized. Looking at web server logs, the backdoor was always some part of Horde/Imp web interface. They have all moved away from it since, so I can't tell if all of those have been fixed recently, but the whole architecture of it is not something I would trust.
