I'd like to point out that I actually have no real problem with IE8, just the way that MS are promoting it in this instance. Anything that draws people away from the IE6 user-base is good with me, just not at the expense of possibly getting them onto an even better platform like FireFox.
- dangrossman 17y agoThat Firefox is a better platform is an opinion, not something the FTC should be enforcing.
- aarongough 17y agoI'm not asking the FTC to enforce my opinions, I'm merely making a report on a case where I think that 'consumers' are being mis-lead. Looking into issues like this is their job.
