Get some blogs to write about it, then hopefully bigger media. Works better if you can point out something unusual - eg if you were 15 years old, that would work really well for you here, or if you can put a concrete estimate to the cost/benefit - "Save 100 Lives For $100 With This Anti-Mosquito Shield". Find their angle for them, and you have a better chance. Someone will get a hold of you then. The time-lapse with proof that it works would probably help a lot if you could as well, but details are even better for the skeptics among us.
