My pay-off on my comics, collected during that crazy mid-1990's boom, is that my kids are getting three long boxes of 1980's-1990's Chris Claremont and Peter David awesomeness and fun.
- jimhart3000 13y agoThis. I have a 7k-ish collection in a storage unit near my family's homes. I worked in comics retail in the late 90s and had no expectation these would ever net me anything more than enjoyment. When my kids are a few years older I'll actually shell out the money to transport them to where I live now and hopefully the stories can be as magical for them as they were for me.
