Getting a nice outfit or two is probably a good investment. I guess it helps you deal with bureaucrats and job interviews and stuff. But what about the rest of the "investments" poor people make? Are they all worth it? To what EXTENT do poor people make good decisions? THAT is the real question here, and it isn't even being asked.
