You can buy parts for your car from several different manufacturers: you can buy original parts if you are/feel very rich but you can buy parts from less known companies. As well you can take two not working old cars of the same model and have quite good chance making one working ("donor car"). Meanwhile if I you ruin your phone you basically can't fix it - especially if parts are tightly compressed. Another possibility you have assigned very special meaning to word "interchangeable".
