The same issue: "the video has been lost"
Unless there's a way to reliably stream the data into the central repository (far away from the officer and his/her police department), it won't work.
- VladRussian2 13y agoThis is why it should be a law. Losing video/camera to be like losing a badge,gun,etc
- michaelt 13y agoThe reason evidence gathered in illegal searches is inadmissible in court is so there's no incentive for cops to perform illegal searches to 'get the bad guys'. If the law said "the video has been lost" meant instant acquittal, the video technology would become radically more reliable.
