I got ticketed for having a GPS attached to the centre of the screen. According to the cop, all devices that obstruct the view must be removed. So, GPS is permitted on an attachment on your dash or far left corner of the windshield. Google Glass is not a phone but an obstacle in view. Therefore, I guess that the cop decided that it should be ticketed. I think this ticket will be upheld in the court as well.
