I received the letter in my mail reporting my information was stolen from Adobe... pretty scary we had to sign up for a credit check company as a result. With the article here: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=6583103 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=6583103 we decided not to go with Experian... but that didn't ease my concerns with the other two options...
- leetrout 13y agoSame here. I didn't feel their offering from Experian was great either. I just canceled my card instead.
- ahelwer 13y agoCancelling the credit card is probably a wise course of action? I have a subscription to creative cloud.
- ye 13y agoWhy not just cancel your credit card? Or did you give Adobe your SSN as well?
- coin 13y agoYou are entitled to a free credit report from each of the three credit bureaus. https://www.annualcreditreport.com/index.action https://www.annualcreditreport.com/index.action
- kamjam 13y agoFor those of you in the UK then you can sign up for free (full) credit reports with https://www.noddle.co.uk/ https://www.noddle.co.uk/ The site is only accessible within UK though. It's from the same people as http://www.callcredit.co.uk/ http://www.callcredit.co.uk/
- cognivore 13y agoA free credit check compensation is funny. It's like getting free 8x10 glossies of your car being stolen.
