Thanks, now I have a problem I didn't know I had ;) I haven't upgraded to Mavericks, yet, but after reading this thread I clicked on my battery indicator (mid-2009 MBP) and there is a "Service Battery" warning. I haven't noticed any issues, and typically get 4-5 hours of usage from a full charge. /shrug
