Actually, I would say that MVP is critical with deep integration. In my experience with deep-integration projects, often the most important aspect is cutting through the clutter. I've worked with some of the federal agencies that have been listed here, and it's true -- some of these things are nightmares. But, there are architectural patterns and development approaches to deal with those. Integration makes things challenging, but not impossible.
